SOC204: Big Ideas for a Better Society (Not available in 2010)

This unit enables students to engage with conceptual schemes that display the intricate interconnections between forms of everyday social interaction and broad social structures, forms of regularity and order as features of national and global social systems. It displays the critical importance of sociological theory, both classical and contemporary to our understanding of contemporary social processes.
