PSY568: Human Resources

This unit deals with traditional issues in the management of human resources in organisational and service settings. Topics cover theoretical and practical problems of human resource management, including job analysis, recruitment and selection, performance management, performance appraisal, and human resource development. Treatment of these topics deals with both the organisation's welfare (which enables it to offer a stable environment to its work force) and the well-being of individual employees as this is affected by personnel practices.
