PSY444: BPsych Practical Placements
The purpose of this unit is to give students opportunities to gain skills and experience from a workplace in an applied setting. Supervision will be provided jointly by university staff and practitioners in, whenever possible, the field of choice. Students enrolled will be contacted to attend an information session. This unit is designed to comply with the University Workplace learning policy.

| Contact Time | 5 days placement preparation (which includes 6 hours of required seminar participation) and 15 days on placement.

| Prerequisites | PSY311 Psychology: Advanced Quantitative Research Methods or PSY315 Psychology: Advanced Qualitative Research Methods or enrolment in Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology.

| Notes | Students may require Police Clearance and Working with Children Certificates where appropriate.
