POL322: Parliamentary and Public Sector Internship

A Parliamentary Internship is a cooperative arrangement with the Western Australian State Parliament. Public Policy Internships are a cooperative arrangement with the Western Australian Public Service. Students undertake research with the collective guidance of a member of parliament or public service agency, and an academic supervisor. The research project is supported by a series of seminars which range in focus from considerations of parliamentary government and policy making to the ethics of research.

Prerequisites	High standard of academic performance.
Notes	Acceptance into the unit depends upon a demonstrated high standard of academic performance. Students intending to undertake an internship should apply to the Unit Coordinator before the end of Semester 1.
