POL250: Government Agencies in a Changing World

The unit focuses on government reform efforts in areas such as service provision and service delivery. It will also look at innovations like performance management and contracting out that have been implemented to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of government. The unit also looks at critical issues in the modern public sector such as transparency and accountability. The unit therefore provides students with a sound understanding of change in the practice of government.
