PEC611: Greenhouse Accounting and Life Cycle Assessment

This unit develops an understanding of the rigorous Greenhouse Accounting and Life Cycle Assessment methodologies that apply in a brave new world of environmental regulation and markets.  The likelihood of a Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme in Australia, combined with an increased community awareness of climate change, demands thorough attention to the accounting of greenhouse gas emissions.   This unit will look at Government mandates through the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting System.
