NUR614: Advanced Mental Health Nursing Theory

Critically examines mental health theory appropriate to selected areas of mental health clinical specialty. Coursework will be set in the area of mental health clinical specialty with core components of counselling, advanced assessment skills and advanced risk assessment/management skills. Facilitates students' critical examination of contemporary and past mental health nursing practice with a view to determining best practice.

Prerequisites

Enrolment in a postgraduate course.
