NUR303: Children and Adolescent Health

This unit addresses the interrelationship of physiological and psychological processes in children and adolescents.  It includes nursing care approaches, skills and competencies relevant to the well and sick children and adolescents, acute and chronic physical conditions and the impact/response to the family dynamics.  Students will demonstrate knowledge and competencies from this unit in a structured clinical practice.
