NUR302: Maternal and Newborn Health

This unit introduces students to the scope of practice of maternal and newborn nursing and to the knowledge and skills that enable them to effectively care for women and their babies during the childbearing continuum, under the supervision of qualified midwives.  The unit builds on concepts introduced in years one and two and enhances students' knowledge and skills in clinical decision-making processes according to the RN's scope of nursing practice.
