NUR201: Fundamentals of Pathophysiology and Pharmacology I

The unit will introduce the student to the principles of pharmacology and pathophysiological mechanisms and processes of disease, including inflammation, infection, trauma, healing, ageing and degeneration, acquired and congenital dysfunction within the human body systems.  The integrated approach will assist in providing the link between the comprehensive theoretical knowledge base and practical approaches and applications to both topics.
