MCC622: Reading Image and Text
This unit looks in depth at how texts and images can be critically examined. It involves the practical application of various forms of text and image analysis, including semiotics, discourse analysis, deconstruction, genealogy and psychoanalysis. Particular attention is paid to industrial and commercial texts and images.
