MCC616: Radio Project

This advanced radio unit focuses on production projects such as online radio, documentary, oral histories, and feature reporting. Students will hone their skills in story selection and development, research, interviewing, scriptwriting, packaging and use of digital audio equipment. Radio packages will be broadcast on a range of different platforms, e.g. community radio national network, local radio and online.

Contact Time	Lectures: 1.5 hours per week; tutorials: 1.5 hours per week. Note: tutorials begin in week 1.
Prerequisites	Enrolment in an Honours, Graduate or Postgraduate course.
Exclusions	Students who have successfully completed MED516 Radio Project may not enrol in this unit for credit.
Notes	Graduate, Postgraduate and Honours students should enrol in the higher-level code for this unit.
Quota	This unit is not subject to quota.
