MCC615: New Media Technologies

This unit teaches students how to describe and evaluate changes to communication technology and media. Students will be exposed to pivotal studies in new media, and will gain practical skills in detailing changes to the Web, explaining the historical, cultural and social factors affecting mobile media, exploring collaborative media, and critically appraising the effects of new media on culture and user psychology.
