MCC248: Screen Texts
This unit is designed as a direct follow-up to MCC116 Introduction to Screen and Sound Studies. It continues that unit's emphasis on the textual nature of film (image and sound), but does so from a combined perspective of political context, film history, and detailed film analysis drawn from a range of theoretical models.

| Prerequisites | MCC116 Introduction to Screen and Sound Studies (or MED116 Introduction to Screen and Sound Studies or MED116 Introduction to Screen Studies) OR EGL106 Introduction to Drama.
Co-requisite: Internet access if studying externally.

| Exclusions | Students who have successfully completed MED232 Screen Texts may not enrol in this unit for credit.
