MBS6991: Special Topics in Business: Islamic Banking and Finance

Islamic banking and finance is a growth industry. This unit will introduce to students the unique system of Islamic shariah-compliant banking and finance and the rules governing its operation. The philosophy behind this new system and the international institutions that are regulating it are other aspects of learning in this unit. The unit will prepare students to enter the Islamic banking and finance labour market.
