MBS633: Accounting Theory and Governance

The focus of this capstone accounting unit are the theories that frame contemporary accounting issues, accounting standards and accounting concepts. Topics include governance and ethics; social responsibilities, accountability, triple bottom line, the significance of understanding user needs and the impediments to financial reporting.
