MBS615: Industrial Project

For students enrolled in the MBA in International Business, the project draws on learning in Chinese Economy and Chinese Business Enterprise Development. Data collection and interviewing take place during the five-week visit to China, including an industry placement. For all other students, the project can comprise a business plan or significant investigation of a topic.

Prerequisites

Students enrolled in postgraduate courses (except MBA in International Business) require approval of the Academic Chair and Supervisor.
Co-requisite: Internet access if studying externally.

Notes

Students enrolled in the MBA in International Business must enrol in the WU3 teaching period to ensure concurrent enrolment in MBS672 Chinese Business Enterprise Development.
Enrolment in this unit for the MBA in International Business will require students to travel overseas to China.
Therefore, students must be aware of Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) travel advisories prior to their departure by checking the following link: http://www.
smartraveller.
gov.
au/ Where the intended overseas location has a high level travel advisory in place the student can opt not to travel to that destination.
Instead they can seek alternative arrangements as determined by the Academic Chair and approved by the Dean of School.
All students must complete the University's online Travel Register prior to departure.
