MBS570: Health and Well-Being in the Workplace (Not available in 2010)

Performance at work and the quality of our working lives are crucially influenced by our general health and well-being. Reciprocally, the extent to which health and well-being concerns are supported by policy and practice, and managed effectively within work organisations, is a significant determinant of longer-term organisational performance.
Topics: occupational stress, work safety and accident prevention, drugs and alcohol, impact of vocational and organisational transitions, and practical support strategies for individuals with adjustment problems in the workplace.

Co-requisite: Internet access if studying externally.

Exclusions

Students who have enrolled in or completed R512/PSY512 Work and Well-being may not enrol in this unit for credit.
