MBS558: Supply Chain Management and Logistics

In an increasingly competitive, complex and connected world efficient and effective supply chain management and supporting logistical operations often play a critical role in the success of organisations. This unit provides an overview of key management issues including fundamentals of logistics and supply chain management, developing and maintaining supply chain relationships, managing flow across the supply chain, examining critical issues associated with distribution and transportation and considering the role of electronic business systems in modern logistics and supply chain environments.
