MBS501: Human Resource Management Law

This unit is about law relevant to the hiring, performance and termination of work relationships in Australia. It investigates the legal relationship between an employer and employee. Coverage of applicable legislation is a focus, with, in particular, study of the rights and obligations imposed on parties to a work relationship, legislated standards, collective agreements, dismissal and discrimination. The unit is part of the Murdoch Business School postgraduate courses.
