LEG208: Negotiation
This unit examines the legal framework surrounding negotiation in both adversarial and transactional contexts and helps students develop negotiation skills. It teaches students how to prepare for and conduct themselves in negotiations, analyse the course of negotiations and discover the causes of failed negotiations and enhance their skills through role playing, reflection and feedback. It examines key issues related to negotiation such as the role and duties of representatives, negotiation ethics and the place of negotiation in the legal system.
