LAW355: Admiralty Law (Not available in 2010)

Admiralty law is a unique and truly international type of commercial law. This unit deals with the liability of ships in admiralty. It will cover a range of types of liability such as salvage, collisions, liability to passengers, towage and marine pollution. It will also deal with enforcement of admiralty claims, including maritime liens, admiralty procedures such as the arrest of vessels, and a ship's right to limit liability.
