LAW334: Indonesian Law (Not available in 2010)

This multi-disciplinary unit will introduce students to the Indonesian legal system. The unit will focus on the cultural, historical and economic context of Indonesian law, including the influence of Dutch colonial rule on Indonesia's modern laws. Indonesian customary and constitutional law, together with private and public law will be surveyed with a view to instructing students as to the nature of the contemporary Indonesian legal system.
