LAW326: Electronic Practice and Litigation

Technology will be used increasingly as a tool in litigation management and in courtrooms. Technology is challenging litigators and courts to harness its advantages. However, the technology must also satisfy the special requirements of courts and the parties to litigation. This unit will cover electronic lodgement of documents at the courts, litigation management as a lawyer, the use of technology to enhance a trial, and electronic appeals.
