KAC070: Introduction to the Practice of Teaching (Not available in 2010)

This unit looks at the processes of 'learning' and 'teaching' in classrooms. What kinds of things do teachers need to think about, take into account and do when they teach children?
Students will visit a school during the semester, shadowing a teacher or Aboriginal educator, and also work with an individual child or small group of children, under guidance.
Students are required to keep a record of their school-based observations and to present a final report.
