KAC064: Foundations of the Media

This unit will introduce students to the three facets of Media: Multimedia, Film and Radio. The Multimedia component introduces multimedia as a combination of text, graphics and the Internet and World Wide Web. The Film component will involve the theories of film production and camera operation. The Radio component will demonstrate basic radio desk principles and interview techniques utilising portable equipment.

Prerequisites

This unit is restricted to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students entering the Kulbardi Aboriginal Tertiary Entrance Course (KATEC).
