JPN364: Japanese IIIB

This unit aims to develop advanced language skills, both written and spoken, to enable students to function with ease in Japanese. The target level of proficiency is the reading of Japanese newspapers, and ability to present spoken and written expressions of opinion about contemporary Japan.

Language classes: 3 to 4 hours per week (hours may be adapted to class size).

Prerequisites

JPN363 Japanese IIIA.
Any student wishing to enrol in this unit without this qualification must pass a placement test administered by the Japanese Studies section.
