JPN205: Japanese IIB

This unit aims to develop further communication skills in both spoken and written Japanese as a continuation of Japanese IIA. The material covered ranges over a diverse selection of topics to help students develop proficiency in the four language skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing, as well as in developing cultural awareness. A communication-oriented oral/aural approach will be adopted.

Prerequisites	JPN204 Japanese IIA. Any student wishing to enrol in this unit without these qualifications must pass a placement test administered by the Japanese Studies section.
