IND161: Indonesian IA
This is a beginning unit for students who have no previous knowledge of Indonesian. The emphasis is wholly on conversation, with reading and writing skills based on conversational materials.

Co-requisite: Internet access if studying externally.

| Exclusions | Students from countries where Indonesian or Malay is a partial or complete medium of instruction in the educational system, or native speakers of the language, or who have studied Indonesian at Year 11 or above, may not enrol in this unit for credit.
Students who have previously studied Indonesian may enter directly into IND261, IND262, IND361 or IND362 on the basis of assessment by the Unit Coordinator.
