ICT363: Network Switching

This unit examines multilayer switched networks from the perspective of design, management and redundancy. Topics include VLANs, Inter VLAN routing, 802.IQ trunking, Spanning Tree Protocol, network security and scalable design. Quality of service is examined in the context of voice over IP.
