HIS225: European Union

Explores the origins and evolution of the European Union (EU); how the EU functions and the effectiveness of its institutions; the key issues affecting its member states (including identity, citizenship, integration, diversity, foreign policy and enlargement); and the EU's future in the 21st century. Note: this unit is run in conjunction with the six other members of the Innovative Universities European Union Centre and includes sizeable online and independent learning components.
