EXM436: Research Project and Thesis

On successful completion of this unit students will be able to plan, execute and report on a research project; select and make a process design of an appropriate metallurgical process for the profitable extraction of a metal/mineral on the basis of the results of the research; enumerate and discuss critical operating procedures of the chosen process; and produce a preliminary economic feasibility study. Students will prepare a thesis on their topic and present a seminar.
