EQU012: Orientation Chemistry 2

This unit builds upon the basic chemical knowledge gained for EQU011 Orientation Chemistry 1 to cover concepts such as equilibrium reactions, redox reactions, acids and bases and a basic investigation of organic chemistry.

Lectures/tutorials: 3 hours per week; laboratories: six two-hour sessions.

Prerequisites

V111/EQU011 Orientation Chemistry 1. This unit is restricted to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students who entered Veterinary Science through the Waardong program, or by permission of the Academic Chair.
