ENV350: Occupational Health and Safety

This unit covers applied aspects relevant to industrial and occupational health and safety. The work environment, safety and hazard analysis, occupational health and safety monitoring and regulations, and measurement and assessment of industrial and occupational environments will be studied. Topics will include noise, heat, ionising radiation, and other occupational, health and safety theory and practical work. Several practical sessions at industrial plants will be conducted to provide industrial experience.
