ENG501: PLC Applications

This unit builds upon previous studies of computer based measurement and control systems. In particular industrial based PLC and SCADA systems. The strong laboratory component provides students with practical experience in using these systems in an industry environment. Students are expected to design, commission and test small scale systems involving programming, networking and interfacing to instruments.
