ENG361: Reactor Engineering (Not available in 2010)

The fundamentals of chemical reaction engineering are presented in this unit. Topics include: rate of reaction, different types of reactors, reactor sizing, isothermal reactor design, nonisothermal reactor design, multiple reactions, and catalytic reactors. This unit draws heavily on foundation concepts of mass and energy balances, process dynamics and transport phenomena.
