ENG346: Process Control Engineering II

The unit further examines different types of conventional controllers introduced in previous control units. Advanced concepts introduced in this unit include: total plant control design, optimisation of the operation of plants, supervisory control and HAZOP and HAZAN. Computer-aided design and simulation followed by real-time implementation are extensively exercised in this unit.
