ENG125: Circuits and Systems I

This unit provides the necessary skills for the analysis of direct current (DC) electrical circuits and systems. In particular it is concerned with the study of fundamentals of electricity, DC circuits, nodal and mesh analysis, superposition and linearity, network laws and theorems, capacitors and inductors, operational amplifiers and their applications, basic RL, RC and RLC circuits and associated natural and forced responses.

Prerequisites

MAS182 Applied Mathematics.
Corequisite: MAS161 Calculus and Matrix Algebra.
