EGL114: Introduction to Creative Arts

This unit aims to provide students with a range of interpretative frameworks for dealing with creativity and the arts. It also aims to challenge students to develop the following skills: critical thinking and the ability to critique, independence in research, and a confident public presentation. This will be achieved through engagement with a range of topics including: performance, writing, music, dance, gender, spectatorship and identity.
