EDU645: Adult Learning in Education and Work

This unit examines recent psychological theories and research related to adult learning in academic, vocational and community learning settings, including professional development and workplace learning. By the end of this unit, students should have developed a sound understanding of the multidimensional, interactive, dynamic and socioculturally situated nature of adult learning. They should be well prepared for designing learning environments which facilitate the development of meaningful knowledge and its application across various settings.
