Students will examine a diverse range of procedures for identifying giftedness and talent in students from early childhood to adolescence, including those used to identify gifted students from specific populations. The unit will also address the social and emotional needs of gifted students and provide an opportunity to examine a range of models designed to meet students' educational needs.
