EDU600: Master of Education Project

A supervised project, resulting in a scholarly report of approximately 6000 words. This will provide evidence that the student can generate a problem and/or research area from their own interests or professional work in education. The project will be: a) a critical review that demonstrates mastery of a problem area; or b) independent research into an identified research problem. Approval by the supervisor, on the basis of a written proposal, must be obtained before the project commences.

Individual or group consultation arranged.
Regular on-campus meetings also conducted and recommended.

Prerequisites

Normally taken as the final component in the MEd (Coursework) degree, provided that F605/EDU605 Master of Education Project is not part of that degree.
Co-requisite: Internet access if studying externally.

Exclusions

Students who have successfully completed F605/EDU605 Master of Education Project may not enrol in this unit for credit.
