EDU446: Cultural Diversity in Learning and Working

This unit is designed for anyone wishing to better understand the social dynamics of culturally diverse environments, for personal or professional reasons. It is particularly relevant to teachers (including LOTE, TESOL), lecturers at university and vocational education settings, student advisors, human resource development officers, team leaders, as well as international students wanting to enrich their intercultural experience. The unit builds upon participants' cultural experiences and enhances their capacity to promote cultural awareness and intercultural learning in their own environment.

Murdoch: S1-internal, S1-external

Contact Time

Internal: Lectures/seminars 3 hours per fortnight over 12 weeks.
External: No attendance required.
On-campus meetings will usually be available.

Nil.
Co-requisite: Internet access if studying externally.
