EDU425: Australian Indigenous Education (Not available in 2010)

This unit focuses specifically on schooling and pedagogy and examines some of the current debates about Aboriginal education, explores issues relating to classroom practice, and considers approaches to teaching Aboriginal studies. The unit ends by considering concepts such as critical pedagogy and transformative education and their relevance to the Australian context.
