EDU409: Inclusive Education: Contemporary Perspectives and Practices
This unit aims to develop an understanding of inclusive education policy and practice across contexts. It explores factors that support education systems and classroom teachers to provide quality learning environments for all students, in particular, those with disabilities and a range of difficulties with learning or those who are gifted. Students may pursue topics of interest such as: inclusive education policy and pedagogy; whole school and classroom practices; assessment and planning; instructional strategies and collaboration and consultation.
