EDU2761: Second/Foreign Languages and the Curriculum

The aim of this unit is to provide intending teachers of a second or foreign language with necessary skills in the areas of curriculum design and implementation. The unit comprises the general study of language and the curriculum, together with providing some opportunity for working with specific language curricula. It examines language teaching practice, and gives students the opportunity to explore a variety of classroom techniques and approaches.

Notes	Curriculum teaching minor in Second/Foreign Languages requires a minimum of two units (6 points) at Part I-level and at least one unit (4 points) at Part II-level from the Asian Studies majors.
