EDU245: Learning and Assessment Processes
This unit focuses on learning and assessment processes in education at the primary and secondary levels. It addresses theories of learning and development relevant to education and concentrates on the classroom implications and applications of theory and research in educational psychology. The unit also addresses the principles, methods and processes of assessment and evaluation as an integral part of the teaching-learning process.

| Prerequisites | Enrolment in the Graduate Diploma in Education (Primary), Bachelor of Education (Primary) (Graduate-Entry), or Graduate Diploma in Education (Secondary), and successful completion of EDU101/E101/EDU1011/E1011.
Co-requisite: Internet access if studying externally.

| Exclusions | Students who have successfully completed E241/EDU241 Processes of Learning or E244 Educational Assessment and Evaluation or E244/EDU244 Processes of Assessment or EDU242 Learning and Assessment: Theory and Practice may not enrol in this unit for credit.
