CHI688: Clinical Experience of Treating Sports Injuries

Aim: to enhance the student-practitioner's ability to properly implement care for a variety of sport-related injuries and conditions. Requires the application of specific sports injury management techniques to athletes in a clinical or on-the-field setting. Also requires a written case series of injuries observed and managed. To acquire the practical experience and cases necessary for the written assignment, the student-practitioner must document 80-120 hours of sport-specific clinical (or on-the-field) hours.

Prerequisites

Completion of Chiropractic degree or equivalent.
Enrolment in the Postgraduate Diploma in Sports Chiropractic or the Masters of Sports Science.
Co-requisite: Internet access if studying externally.
