CHI409: Chiropractic Skills and Principles III

This unit will integrate the students' chiropractic technique, soft tissue treatments, and rehabilitation skills for various neuromusculoskeletal conditions. Various chiropractic technique alternatives will be introduced in an evidence based context.  The students will further develop their foundation in the manual skills and soft tissue treatments leading to better proficiency and competency. The students will develop an understanding of patient and case management for typical disorders seen in practice.

Enrolment in BSc/BChiropractic and successful completion of Bachelor of Science (Chiropractic), CHI301 Processes in Human Disease, CHI302 Diagnosis and Chiropractic Skills, CHI303 Primary Practice I: Clinical Science and Diagnosis, CHI304 Clinical Orthopaedics and Neurology, and CHI309 Chiropractic Skills and Principles II.
