CHI309: Chiropractic Skills and Principles II

Builds on CHI109, CHI209 and CHI302, with emphasis on the development of chiropractic adjusting skills. Research a range of adjusting techniques in preparation for critical analysis and class discussion through a series of seminars. Practical sessions further refine psychomotor skills essential for the most commonly utilised spinal and extremity adjusting techniques. Complete a series of clinical observations in private chiropractic practices. The pathological process of disease is discussed as it relates to conditions of the extremities.

Prerequisites

Enrolment in Chiropractic and successful completion of CHI209 Biomechanics and Diagnostic Palpation Skills, CHI302 Diagnosis and Chiropractic Skills, CHI303 Primary Practice I: Clinical Science and Diagnosis.
